Working Hard

The kids worked hard getting the animals ready for our vacation.  Cages needed to be beefed up and new feeders needed to be made so that it was easy for our house sitters to get their job done.

Making a feeder for Agatha that she can't tip over or destroy has been a challenge.  The $150 version the feed store sells is out of the question so the kids pulled apart an old wheelbarrow and made one out of that.

They attached it to two 8 foot long, heavy poles.  Then they made a place for it in the pigs cage and attached the whole thing to the side of the cage.

I wonder if the pigs will like it.

Looks like they do!

  1. What creative children you have. They are quite ingenious. Have you sold the other piglets?

  2. Yes! Only 1 or 2 left to sell depending on how many he decides to keep.
