Steam Train Ride:
Since we hadn't been able to ride the steam train when we were at Mt Rainier we decided to ride the Chehalis steam train. This was a Sunday. It was suppose to be a laid back day to catch up on laundry and spend some time around the hotel and pool. The ride was only about an hour and a half. We saw some beautiful country and got to experience what riding on an old steam train would have been like. Most of the kids were too young to remember when we rode a similar train with Grandma years ago.
It was a long wait for the train.

What a really fun day. I love the Chehalis area. It is so beautiful. (we had actually looked at property in that area when we first moved to WA in 2004.) I love to ride trains. It is a great experience. So relaxing. The first photo you had of Kylie with her hat on made it look like she had cut her hair very short, I was glad to see the next photo she was in without the hat:)
ReplyDeleteLOL It was just really hot and I think it felt good to get it up off her neck for awhile. As the trip goes on you will notice the girls looking more and more bedraggled. :)
